Inspiring Interview

Michael Fields, artistic director of Dell Arte Theatre, interviews Dudley Cocke, Donna Porterfield, Ron Short and Tamara Coffey, the artists of Roadside Theatre in Kentucky. These people have such a solid sense of who they are and what they do and why they do it that it cuts through the murk like a beacon. Roadside Theatre has been in existence since 1975, and is part of Appalshop, a "multi-disciplinary arts and education center in the heart of Appalachia producing original films, video, theater, music and spoken-word recordings, radio, photography, multimedia, and books."

Enjoy the interview!
